LA UVA is an Italian fashion brand born from the personal and exclusive vision of designer Anna Meneghetti's dress.
The sartorial and artisan roots combined with passion and strong motivation lead Anna to connect contrasting elements where Italian audacity and lost refinement come together to create an eclectic reality.
From the eternal passion for timeless precious objects combined with vibrant colors, LA UVA takes shape, a nostalgic-chic habitat with exotic contrasts where unique clothes are born, from luxurious fabrics and intense material fantasies, which slide softly on the body, harmonizing every authentic line.
LA UVA is a concentration of exclusive clothes to be preserved and showed without time or season constraints, like a precious artifact that, even after years, will arouse the same visceral emotion. An ideal balance between eccentricity, refinement and audacity, is proposed through silky fabrics and simple lines with essential features that enhance that slightly forgotten femininity aimed at a new chic, independent and persuasive protagonist.
THE DRESS
The dress is the only item of clothing in its shape that has all the requirements to be defined as essential and complete.
It was created to be worn alone without additional accessories in addition, creating a wearable and immediately usable total look.
The idea that a garment "has its own essence" is one of the principles that inspires Anna to an authentic vision of the dress, seeing it as a differentiating and unique object in favor of the wearer.
THE BODY
The body is authentic.
It is the tailor-made habitat created specifically for each of us and precisely because of its inestimable value it must be accepted and respected.

We want to improve more and more how the dress “fits” by eliminating possible errors and defects in fit during the design phase once the garment is worn.
The perfect fit is a focal point of our study and research, in which we invest a lot of work and energy every day.
THE MATERIALS
Our fabrics are made exclusively for LA UVA and hand-drawn by Anna, mixing color blends with brilliant shades, creating deep and exclusive patterns.
The patterns are a perfect balance of strong color contrasts, sophistication and a vintage aftertaste.
LA UVA clothes are designed to be as versatile as possible in terms of use, combinability and seasonality thanks to the fabrics that we have made by the best Italian textile companies to be worn both in winter and in summer.
We pay particular attention to the fibers of each of our fabrics, which are strictly natural without synthetic components while having a silky, soft and shiny hand.
Through our fabrics we want to preserve and transmit the artisan passion where the Italian "know-how" is an inestimable value to be protected and handed down over time.
