Also known as "vegetable silk", cupro is a precious fiber that is fresh, light and shiny like silk but at the same time resistant and breathable.
It is a vegan fiber because it comes from the inside of the cotton staple starting from the cotton linters which are the short and fluffy filaments found around the seed.
After having extracted them and cleaned of all impurities, the linters undergo a manufacturing process in order to become pure cellulose, a fiber with excellent tactile qualities on the skin.
Cellulose fiber combines the qualities of a natural fiber such as delicacy on the skin with qualities such as shine and elasticity present in artificial ones.
We would like to remember the difference between man-made fibers and synthetic fibers.
The latter have no natural element inside them but only synthetic components obtained through chemical processes.
Cupro takes care of your skin, you don't feel it on and it doesn't stick.
What characterizes cupro and distinguishes it from all other fibers is its structure, in fact its smooth surface, without unevenness, ensures a very low abrasion and friction index in contact with the skin, thus avoiding irritation or allergies.
For this reason, even the detergent substances with which they are washed do not settle in the filaments thus avoiding other possible causes of allergenic phenomena.
The other fibers, such as cotton itself, but also silk, have an irregular surface that does not guarantee the same slipperiness and delicacy on the skin.
The cellulose fiber of cupro is also very absorbent as it is made up of micro pores that easily absorb moisture and release it to the outside.
Other properties of this fabric are its slipperiness in contact with the skin and with other garments that make the cupro perfect for the realization of our dresses, which glide softly on the body almost not feeling them on.
Cupro is also a biodegradable and antistatic fabric, this last very important feature allows our clothes not to annoyly "stick" to the body but simply to lean on.
